TO ALL OUR FANS, FRIENDS, AND FAMILY WE WANTED TO TAKE THIS TIME TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT THROUGHOUT OUR 40+ YEAR SPAN AS A BAND. WORDS CAN’T EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO FAT CITY AND TO LIVE MUSIC IN AND OF ITSELF. AS THE FOUNDER OF FAT CITY, IT WAS A WONDERFUL RIDE AND EVEN THOUGH I’M SAD THIS IS THE END OF FAT CITY AS YOU KNOW IT, I’M GLAD FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES YOU HAVE GIVEN US THROUGHOUT THESE 4+ DECADES. MANY OF YOU FANS HAVE BECOME LIKE FAMILY TO US AND THAT IS SOMETHING WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER. THESE DAYS, A 40+ YEAR CAREER AS A BAND IS SIMPLY UNHEARD OF; BUT THIS RUN WAS SOMETHING WE CAN ALL LOOK BACK AND SAY “WOW! 40+ YEARS IS AN AMAZING THING TO ACCOMPLISH…”

For anyone out there that has not heard, Robert Blea has now passed away. Robert Blea was the founding member of Fat City and so much more.

For anyone out there that has not heard, Michael Herndon has also passed away. Michael was one of Fat City’s lead singers for over 20 years.

For anyone out there that has not heard, Roland “Stone” Smith has passed away.  Roland was Fat City’s bass player and one of the lead singers for the past 30 or so years.
